This Privacy Policy explains how TrustFix ("TrustFix", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects your personal information when you use the TrustFix mobile app, our website and related services (together, the "Platform"). It also explains the choices and rights you have.
We process personal information in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable laws. Please read this policy together with our Terms of Service.

3. Our legal basis for using your information
We only process your personal information when we have a lawful basis to do so:
- Contract: to provide the Platform and the services you ask for under our Terms.

4. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- With other users: Vendor and supplier profiles are public on the Platform. This includes the business name, photo, category, services or products, prices, portfolio, ratings and reviews. When you chat with or work with another user, they can see your name, profile photo and the information you share with them, such as the job address. - Google: Google Sign-In and maps
- Apple: Sign in with Apple
- Firebase (Google): push notifications
- Our email delivery provider: sending verification codes and account emails

- In a business transfer: if TrustFix is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. It will remain protected by this policy.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers store or process information outside Nigeria. When this happens, we take steps to make sure your information receives an adequate level of protection, as required by the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
6. How long we keep your information
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and as long as we need it to provide the Platform.
When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within 30 days. The exceptions are records we must keep for legal, accounting, tax or fraud-prevention reasons, such as payment, escrow, order and dispute records. These records are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes and are no longer linked to your identity where possible.
7. How we protect your information
We use technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including:
- encrypting data in transit;
- storing passwords in hashed form;
- keeping verification documents private and limiting who can access them; and
- restricting access to personal information to staff who need it for their work.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will respond promptly to any security incident.
8. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable laws, you have the right to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your personal information;

You can update most of your information directly in the app. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Privacy & Security → Delete Account in the app. For any other request, email us at laborsoftech@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request.
If you are not satisfied with how we handle your information, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
